1- Put on a new man, one God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Q: Have you changed? 2- Put away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: The truth will never steer you wrong. NEVER. 3- Be ye angry, and sin not: Q: How often to you lose your temper? 4- Let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Settle it. If you don't it will fester. 5- Neither give place to the devil. Q:What parts of your heart are you not allowing Jesus in? 6- Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needs. Be an example the lost is watching. 7- Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Don’t feed your heart junk. 8- Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. When the Spirit prompts listen. 9- Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: Don’t feed it. 10- Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Love people, Jesus does. When we get saved we have responsibilities. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

My favorite of everything you've listed is number 9. We shouldn't be bitter and angry from the bad things that happened to us. If we keep some bitter feelings, we won't be able to truly move on from our past. We can never evolve and become a better person, if our past keeps holding us back. We should trust God with his plans and free ourselves from our ugly past. We have to forgive, just as how God has forgiven us from all our sins.
